They have a hospitalist group that covers the daytime admissions. Share in a 1 in 16 night call schedule. The hospital is over 250 beds and it’s a tertiary care center. They have over 300 physicians on staff. They are offering a starting compensation in the $190,000 range plus $3,500 in relocation, malpractice with tail and full benefits that include: health, life insurance, disability insurance, 403B pension plan, 401K, 3 weeks time off and 1 week CME plus $4,500. There also is a $20,000 sign on bonus plus loan reimbursement. The community has over 30,000 residents and a serving area of 200,000 people.
