Are you a skilled General Medicine provider seeking a flexible opportunity to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams + Separation Health Assessments? We are seeking General Medicine Providers for locum coverage across the country, with positions available near SHENANDOAH, VA.
Opportunity Details:
- Availability: Need is on a PRN basis, offering flexibility to accommodate various schedules.
- Specialties Accepted: We welcome professionals from various backgrounds, including family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with experience in general medicine or compensation and pension exams.
- Coverage Options: Choose between traveling to perform exams or scheduling appointments within your own practice, providing flexibility and autonomy.
- Shift Options: Choose between days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours) to accommodate your preferences.
- Exam Details: Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments, primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing. No prescribing or treatment involved.
- Credentialing: Benefit from a quick credentialing and onboarding process to expedite your start.
- DMA Certification: Certification available with the opportunity to earn CME credits. Obtain certification if not already privileged.
- Equipment: Utilize a Goniometer and your own personal laptop (NO MACs) for examinations.
- Training: Comprehensive training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Reporting: Submit completed DBQs within 48 hours upon exam completion, emphasizing completion of standardized form(s) rather than narrative reports.
- Evaluation Process: Utilize the provider portal for streamlined evaluation processes.
- Record Review: Active participation in record reviews required to ensure comprehensive assessment and documentation.
- Follow-Up Administrative Work: Regular follow-up administrative tasks including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics to maintain thorough patient records.
- Providers Needed: Join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, contributing to the collective effort to support Veterans.

- Board Certified: Ensure board certification in your respective field.
