Job Overview: A General Medicine Physician is needed on a locum tenens basis to perform non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments for veterans near Three Rivers, California. This flexible opportunity allows the provider to serve veterans in either a VES-leased facility or within their own practice location.

Position Highlights:

• Shift Options: Half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts available on a PRN basis

  • All reports submitted within 48 hours of exam completion using standardized forms
  
  
  
  

Requirements:

• License: Active and unrestricted California medical license


• Certifications: Must obtain Disability Medical Assessment (DMA) certification if not already certified (client does not reimburse for DMA certifications or training portal)


• Experience:
  
  
  
  • Proficiency in METs testing, respiratory and cardiovascular evaluations, and familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and neurological assessments
  
  
  • Use of goniometer required
  
  
  
  


• Technology: Personal laptop required (no Mac products permitted)


• Administrative: Willingness to complete follow-up administrative tasks (addendums, medical opinions, diagnostic readings as necessary)
