We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in a well-established healthcare setting near Tieton, WA. Position Details:

  • End Date: Ongoing, long-term coverage needed

  • Facility Type: Outpatient clinic setting (no inpatient duties)

  • Practice Details:

    • Provide care for a steady patient load of 16-18 patients per shift

    • Board certification required

    • Epic EMR system in place for streamlined operations

    • Credentialing timeframe: 45-90 days (expedited options available for clean history)




Call and Shift Information:



  • Call Type: Beeper

  • Call Frequency: 1:8 (minimal phone consults and call-backs)

  • Call Response Time: 30 minutes

  • Phone Consults: Average of 2-3 per 24 hours

  • Admissions: None required


Support and Team Structure:



  • Strong support staff includes:

    • 4 Registered Nurses

    • 1 Medical Assistant

    • 3 PA/NPs

    • Additional office staff on-site



  • No supervision of residents or advanced practice providers required


Requirements:



  • Licensing: Must be licensed in Washington or through IMLC

  • Certifications:

    • Board Certified in Internal Medicine

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
