  • Additional Info: This position is responsible for the oversight, direction and delivery of participant/patient care, oversight of the quality assessment and performance improvement program, providing leadership and supervision to medical staff, and achieving best clinical outcomes possible for all participants/patients.
    Serves as the Medical Director for Clinical Services (Hospice and Home Health) and is responsible for the delivery and oversight of the care, treatment and services provided to patients, based on the patient's identified needs and goals of care in accordance with hospice philosophy of care.
    Qualifications:
    - Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine preferred
    - Licensed to practice and prescribe scheduled drugs in Kansas
    - Must subscribe to the hospice and palliative care philosophy and have two years' experience working with chronically ill or terminal patients
    - Knowledge of palliative care with particular emphasis on symptom control associated with terminal illness
