We are seeking a Board Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist for a Locum Tenens position near Eugene, OR. This opportunity offers a great atmosphere, competitive pay, a wide array of benefits, and significant growth opportunities for employees.

  • Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, plus shared on-call duties


Job Description:




  • Responsibilities:



    • Provide cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

    • Perform evaluations and management services, including interpretation of EKG, Echocardiography, Cardiac Nuclear Imaging, stress Echocardiography, and Holter/event monitor.

    • Review and sign individual treatment plans for cardiac rehab patients.

    • Perform and interpret Cardioversion and Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE).

    • Collaborate with other medical specialties to meet established standards and practices of care.

    • Examine, diagnose, and provide treatments for a broad range of cardiac diseases.

    • Use appropriate risk calculators and stay updated with new studies, technology, and medications.

    • Administer prescribed medications in compliance with state laws and practice guidelines.

    • Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and health prevention.

    • Maintain patient records, charts, and other pertinent information, documenting clearly and concisely.

    • Triages patient telephone calls and provides consultations as needed.

    • Participate in physician meetings and assist in policy formation.

    • Keep all licenses and certifications current and unrestricted.




  • Call Schedule:



    • Shared Echo call rotation, including reading on weekends.




  • Requirements:



    • Board Certification: Required

    • State License: Active Oregon license required

    • Certification: BLS required

    • Visa Status: Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates

    • Not Accepting: Locum candidates
