  • Seamless Technology:
    Utilize your familiarity with EPIC, the electronic medical records system used at the facility.




  • Key Responsibilities:



    • Respond promptly to on-call situations, providing timely consultations and performing critical cardiac interventions for adult patients experiencing cardiac emergencies.

    • Perform a variety of essential cardiac procedures, including balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasties, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), heart catheterizations, and coronary angiograms.

    • Collaborate effectively with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.

    • Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the EPIC EMR system.




  • Qualifications for Success:



    • Current board certification in Interventional Cardiology is mandatory.

    • Valid and active medical license in the state of Kentucky and a DEA number are required. For physicians with 3-7 days/month availability, an active Interstate Medical License Compact (IMLC) may be considered.

    • Current ACLS certification is mandatory.

    • Experience performing a variety of interventional cardiology procedures, including balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasties, PCI, heart catheterizations, and coronary angiograms, is essential.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, colleagues, and staff.

    • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment is crucial.

    • Ability to remain calm and make critical decisions in fast-paced, acute care situations.
