Prominent regional health system in Eastern North Carolina, is seeking a Board Certified Medical or Surgical Oncologist to serve as Medical Director of its Cancer ;

The successful candidate will provide medical leadership, supervision, planning and integration as part of a physician/management dyad, for all cancer services provided at the Cancer Center, hospitals, and other care settings located throughout eastern North Carolina. The Medical Director responsibilities will also include an ongoing clinical practice, integration of the relations of the joint venture with medical school, as well as involvement in the building of a $180 million cancer tower that will open in the spring of 2018. Medical Center is home to a regional cancer center as well as both a Gamma Knife and a Cyberknife.

Qualifications:

• Board certification in internal medicine, OB, or surgery with a sub-specialty board certification in Hem/Onc, Med/Onc, Surg/Onc, or Gyn/Onc

• 5 plus years of Medical Director leadership experience

• 10 plus years of clinical experience

• Demonstrated progressive professional, organizational, managerial and leadership skills
