Locums Nephrologist needed for Hospitalist practice setting in New York



  • Start Nov 1 - on going

  • M-F 100% inpatient work.

  • Call rotation of 1:3 weeknights and 1:3 (possibly 1:4 at times) weekends.

  • Procedures required: Quinton catheters and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).

  • Admitting patients to the various units including ICU.

  • Physician will be the third nephrologist.

  • Dialysis catheter placement – required

  • Renal biopsy – not required.

  • Catheter placement preferred

  • Inpatient census ranges from 18-30.

  • Level II trauma center. Excellent sub-specialty ;Daily census of approximately 280.

  • Four intensivists that cover the ICU full-time on a rotating basis.

  • Credentialing: Two weeks is the standard from the time an application is received.

  • A++rated malpractice with tail

  • Pre-paid travel and lodging

  • weekly compensation schedule

  • 24/7 in-house travel and customer service
