Locum Tenens Opportunity for Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine Physician Near Highlands Ranch, CO


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position near Highlands Ranch, CO. This role offers the flexibility of working on an as-needed basis (PRN) with the potential for ongoing engagement. The ideal candidate will be board-certified in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R, with a strong background in both general medicine and traumatic brain injury assessments.

Job Description:


We are looking for providers to perform a combination of general medicine and traumatic brain injury exams. This position requires expertise in conducting thorough interview-based assessments and some physical evaluations, such as range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, and traumatic brain injury assessments. The exams will focus on both general medicine and traumatic brain injury.


Key Responsibilities:



  • No prescribing or treatment is required.

  • DMA certification available (can earn CME credits) - certification must be obtained once privileged if not already certified.

  • Use of Goniometer required for evaluations.

  • Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions is essential.

  • Proficiency in METs testing and the evaluation and diagnosis of respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions is required.

  • Must own a personal laptop (NO Apple Laptops/MACs).

  • Comprehensive training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).

  • Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report. The end product is the completion of standardized forms.

  • Evaluations to be completed in the provider portal, and records will be reviewed.
