Locum Tenens Opportunity: Physician Providers near Kelly LA

We are seeking providers to perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams.
Details:
- Need is on a PRN basis, ongoing, offering flexibility in scheduling to accommodate providers' availability.
- Candidates must be Board Certified in any of the following specialties: Neurology, Neurosurgery, PM&R.
- Exams primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, and evaluation of traumatic brain injury. Exams will encompass a mix of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury assessments.
- No prescribing or treatment involved, focusing solely on assessment and evaluation.
- DMA certification available, allowing providers to obtain CME credits. Certification is required once privileged if not already certified.
- Use of Goniometer required for accurate assessments.
- Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions required.
- Proficiency in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions essential.
- Personal laptop required for documentation purposes (NO Apple Laptops/MACs).
- Training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
- Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report. End product is completion of standardized form(s).
- Evaluations to be completed in VES's provider portal, with records reviewed for accuracy and completeness.
- Currently, three providers needed for this opportunity.
