We are actively searching for a skilled and experienced physician to join our team and provide exceptional care to patients experiencing a variety of neurological conditions. This locum tenens position offers 24-hour call and the opportunity to participate in a variety of procedures, fostering a comprehensive neurological care experience.

What You'll Do:



  • Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations and assessments in the inpatient setting.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a variety of neurological conditions.

  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as radiologic exams, EEGs, and evoked potentials to inform treatment decisions.

  • Perform essential neurological procedures including thrombolytic therapy, brain death exams, and other relevant procedures as needed.

  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, including nurses and therapists, to ensure coordinated patient care.

  • Document patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the Cerner electronic medical records system.


Who You Are:



  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with board certification in Neurology (required).

  • Current and active license to practice medicine in Michigan (required).

  • ACLS and PALS certifications (required).

  • Experience with the interpretation of a variety of neurological diagnostic tests (radiology, EEG, evoked potentials) (preferred).

  • Strong clinical decision-making skills and a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

  • The ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
