Locum Tenens Physician Opportunity Near Old Station, CA

We are currently seeking dedicated physicians to join our team on a locum tenens basis to perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) exams. This opportunity offers flexibility with PRN shifts and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care.
Position Details:
- Rate Type: Daily
- Emergency/Temp Privileges: No
- Shift Type: Days
- Shift Description:
- PRN - as needed basis
- Shifts TBD
- Half day is 4 hours or less
- Full day is 4-8 hours

- N/A
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams.
- Perform interview-based evaluations with physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Use of a Goniometer for physical assessments.
- No prescribing or treatment involved.
- Complete standardized forms (DBQs) within 48 hours of exam completion.
- Submit evaluations through the provider portal for review.
Requirements:
- Certification: Must be Board Certified in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R.
- Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio required.
- Proficient in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
- Must own a personal laptop (No Apple Laptops/MACs).
- Training: Provided for Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
- DMA Certification: Available (CME credits) - required once privileged if not already certified.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in General Medicine or experience with TBI exams preferred.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
