Position Type: Locum-to-Permanent
We are actively seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist for an exciting locum-to-permanent opportunity in New York State, near Warnerville. This is an excellent chance for a compassionate Neurology Physician interested in a dedicated outpatient practice setting, working primarily with adult patients and focusing on ALS care.
Position Highlights
- Start Date: Beginning January 2025
- Practice Setting: Outpatient ALS-focused neurology office
- Patient Demographics: 100% adult, outpatient care
- Daily Patient Load: Expect to see an average of 6-7 patients per day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour days
- On-Call and Weekend Requirements: None
- EMR System: Epic
Requirements
- Licensure: Active New York State medical license required
- Board Certification/Eligibility: Neurology, Palliative Care, Hospice, Physiatry, or Internal Medicine with ALS experience
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Special Experience: ALS expertise is a key requirement for this role
- Compensation: Hourly rate based on experience and qualifications, with a conversion fee cap of $25k for a transition to permanent

- Travel Assistance: Facility will cover hotel accommodations and rental car expenses for the duration of the assignment.
- Credentialing Fees: Please note, application and credentialing fees are not reimbursed.
