Position Type: Locum-to-Permanent


We are actively seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist for an exciting locum-to-permanent opportunity in New York State, near Warnerville. This is an excellent chance for a compassionate Neurology Physician interested in a dedicated outpatient practice setting, working primarily with adult patients and focusing on ALS care.


Position Highlights



  • Start Date: Beginning January 2025

  • Practice Setting: Outpatient ALS-focused neurology office

  • Patient Demographics: 100% adult, outpatient care

  • Daily Patient Load: Expect to see an average of 6-7 patients per day

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour days

  • On-Call and Weekend Requirements: None

  • EMR System: Epic


Requirements



  • Licensure: Active New York State medical license required

  • Board Certification/Eligibility: Neurology, Palliative Care, Hospice, Physiatry, or Internal Medicine with ALS experience

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

  • Special Experience: ALS expertise is a key requirement for this role

  • Compensation: Hourly rate based on experience and qualifications, with a conversion fee cap of $25k for a transition to permanent


Reimbursements and Support



  • Travel Assistance: Facility will cover hotel accommodations and rental car expenses for the duration of the assignment.

  • Credentialing Fees: Please note, application and credentialing fees are not reimbursed.

  • Availability: Your available start date and assignment preferences

  • NPI and License Information: Required for credentialing purposes

  • Malpractice History: Include any relevant background history

  • References: Professional references preferred, if available
