What You'll Do:



  • Provide comprehensive neurosurgical care to a variety of patients, including stroke interventions.

  • Perform surgery, manage patient care pre-operatively and post-operatively.

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

  • Oversee patient care during call shifts, ensuring timely intervention and patient safety.

  • Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the eCW electronic medical records system.


Who You Are:



  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with board certification in Neurosurgery (BC) (required).

  • Current and active license to practice medicine in Virginia (required).

  • DEA/CSR certifications and BCLS and ACLS certifications (required).

  • A minimum of 200 neurosurgical case logs within the last 24 months (required).

  • A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care within a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
