  Summary:
  The NP is responsible for applying advanced knowledge/clinical skills necessary to assess/manage the healthcare of chronically ill geriatric participants in Piedmont Health SeniorCare.
  Required:
  - Graduate of accredited NP Program
  - 5 years clinical nursing experience
  (1 year of experience with the frail or elderly preferred.)
  - Must possess skills necessary to provide care for geriatric patients
  - Good organizational and supervisory skills
  - Must have the ability to get along in a chteam environment
  - Effectively handle difficult and unusual interpersonal situations
  - Must possess the ability to learn, teach and research
  - Ability to solve problems and think analytically/critically
  - Strong oral and written communication skills desired
  - Must meet a standardized set of competencies established by Piedmont Health SeniorCare and approved by CMS before working independently
  - Must only act within the scope of his/her authority to practice
