  • Predictable Schedule with Flexibility: Enjoy a full-time schedule with Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts as the primary option. However, the ability to work flexible 10-hour shifts (up to 4 per week) is essential to accommodate program needs. Weekends are excluded from scheduled work hours.


What You'll Do:



  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for adult inpatients with a variety of cardiology conditions.

  • Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, considering the unique needs of each patient.

  • Manage complex cardiology cases, including pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing structural heart procedures.

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, monitor patient responses to treatment, and adjust care plans as needed.

  • Provide ongoing patient education and support regarding cardiology conditions, treatment options, and recovery plans.

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and coordinated care delivery for cardiology patients.

  • Document all patient interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the Epic electronic medical records system.


Who You Are:



  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree for Nurse Practitioners or Master's degree in Physician Assisting (PA) with a focus on cardiology (required).

  • Current and active license to practice in Washington state or possess an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) for out-of-state licensure.

  • National certification in Cardiology by a recognized organization (, AANP, NCCPA) (required).

  • Current ACLS certification (required).

  • A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to adult cardiology patients in a collaborative team environment.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills to manage complex cardiology conditions.
