BLS - Required
Procedures required: PAP tests; I & D wound care (non-complex); POS testing (performed by nursing staff) includes EKG, Strep, U/A, Flu, BS, Hgb A1C; assigned to daily rooms and will administer injections
Outpatient only, no call
Helps establish a primary care panel
Adult only patients in an Internal Medicine practice
Call covered by Health Direct (Vidant Nurse Line Triage)
Will provide preventative care and management of chronic conditions for established patient panel during interim period
16-20 Patients/Day
LT provides BLS until EMS arrives in event of an in-office emergency
Not required to serve as backup to Emergency Department
