Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Hospitalist
Location: Beautiful southern Minnesota

This position requires and/or job details:
· Nurse practitioner/Physician assistant will provide inpatient clinical care
- 1 physician and 1 APP on during the day
- 1 APP on at night
· Possess ability to work independently/autonomously and interdependently with other health care professionals
· Have extensive patient assessment skills using diagnostic methods and instruments and possess ability to develop appropriate plan of care, modifying as indicated
· Possess effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with patients, families and members of health care team
· 7 days on / 7 days off
· 12 hour shifts
- Day 7 am - 7 pm
- NOC 7pm - 7am
· Hospitalist experience is required
· Volume of patients seen per day ranges from 6 - 12
· EMR = Cerner
