Caring for patients with broad range of medical and post-operative diagnoses as part of the inpatient team in collaboration with the General Pediatrics attendings.
Developing comprehensive patient plans, reviewing the plan of care with the interdisciplinary clinical team, participating in the direction of patient care, performing diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures, providing peri-operative services and coordinating ambulatory management and/or discharge planning and follow-up, as applicable.
Assesses the patients for urgent and emergent conditions. Uses relevant data to evaluate for physiologic instability. Utilizes the data to formulate a plan of care.
Performs therapeutic interventions to stabilize health problems.
