Full-Time Position in Patient-Centered Hospitalist Team

Position Details:

• Position Type: Full-time, hospital-employed ACNP position in a Nocturnist role.


• Patient-Centered Care: Join a patient-centered and empathetic Hospitalist team focused on providing comprehensive care during night shifts.


• Team Composition: Collaborate with 19 physicians and 4 APPs, supported by dedicated staff including RNs, Nursing Assistants, RT, Case Management, and Office Staff.


• Work Schedule: Follow a 7 nights on, 14 nights off schedule, providing a structured work-life balance.


• Patient Management: Oversee hospital census and admit approximately 10-12 patients per shift, contributing to a dynamic and varied workload.


• Trauma Center: Work in a Level 3 Trauma Center, providing exposure to diverse and critical cases.


• Stroke Center: Contribute to the care of patients in a Primary Stroke Center.


• Bed Capacity: Be part of a 231-bed regional referral hospital, serving a broad community.


• ICU Structure: Practice in an opened ICU, enhancing collaboration and multidisciplinary care.


• Smart Room Technology: Utilize brand new Smart Rooms compatible with EPIC, contributing to the facility's recognition in the Most Wired awards in 2022.


• Educational Environment: Engage with Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students on-site, fostering a collaborative learning atmosphere.


• Modern Infrastructure: Work in a hospital newly built in 2008, providing a modern and conducive setting for patient care.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduating from a qualified ACNP program.


• Experience: Open to practicing ACNPs and newly trained professionals.


• Licensure: Possess an Indiana Medical License.
