Night shifts 7:00pm-7:00am
No call, patients covered by 3 MDs, 2 APPs in house
Inpatient only (Minimum of 2 years' experience)
Duties - triage calls from nurses, round on unstable patients, sometimes accept patients to the service from the ICU
Consults handled by NP/PA with physician back up
Level 1 Trauma Center
No ICU/Critical Care Procedures
Hospitalists Do Not Run Codes
Inpatient Census: 300
Average admissions: 8-9/provider/night
Night coverage: Number of Physicians: 3, Number of APPs: 4
