  • Additional Info: Since 1981, South Central Family Health Center (SCFHC) has played a significant role in filling the void for comprehensive health services in the historically underserved and uninsured population of South Los Angeles. With 4 brand-new facilities with state-of-the-art equipment, SCFHC has more than 240 staff members of which 30 are clinicians who provide direct medical services, treatment, and patient care.
    DETAILS:
    - Sees clinical patients in the health services office for selected laboratory testing, examination, diagnosis, and treatment of both chronic and acute episodic illnesses and minor injuries and refers to the physician as needed
    - Performs primary care and physical examinations
    - 80% of patients are Spanish speaking.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    - Current CA license REQUIRED
    - DEA license REQUIRED
    - 6 years prior experience as RN or NP in a community clinic setting REQUIRED
    - Bilingual English/Spanish PREFERRED
