Locum Tenens Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Opportunity Near Eugene, OR
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a Locum Tenens position near Eugene, OR. This role offers a fantastic working environment and ample opportunities for professional growth.

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Manage mental health problems and coordinate health and wellness programs for patients.
- Adhere to State and Federal rules and regulations, and follow nursing standards of care.
- Provide care for adult-only patients, including those with acute and acutely chronic mental illnesses.
- Work within a facility that has 13 inpatient beds, alongside 1 MD and 1 PNP on site.
Skills and Abilities:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance at the assigned job location.
- Ability to work effectively with various departments and the public.
- Proficiency in using a personal computer and relevant software programs.
- Commitment to ongoing educational growth and collaborative problem-solving for patient care.
Physical/Mental/Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently.
- Physical agility to respond quickly to unexpected patient care needs.
- Adequate hearing, visual acuity, and color vision.
- Fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and ability to handle objects.
- Ability to use proper body mechanics for patient transfers and ambulation.
- Must use standard precautions due to the threat of exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and occasionally use a personal computer.
