Full-Time Optometrist Opportunity near Beulaville, NC


Overview:


Are you a dedicated optometrist seeking a full-time position in an expanding practice? We are currently looking for full-time optometrists to join our team near Beulaville, NC. Completion of residency training is preferred but not required.

  • Comprehensive Eye Care: Conduct comprehensive eye exams and provide specialized testing and therapy for both new and established patients.

  • Ocular Disease Management: Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular diseases, including diabetic eye exams, dry eye disease evaluation, cataracts, and glaucoma.

  • Diagnostic Imaging: Order and interpret diagnostic images such as corneal topography, fluorescein angiography, anterior and posterior segment OCT, and more.

  • Prescription Services: Prescribe corrective spectacles and contact lenses based on patient needs.

  • Pre- and Post-Operative Care: Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients.

  • Low Vision Evaluations: Conduct evaluations for patients with low vision to enhance their quality of life.

  • Urgent Eye Care: Triage and handle urgent eye concerns and emergencies as they arise.

  • Rotating Call: Participate in rotating call schedules for the practice.

  • Teaching Opportunities: Engage in teaching activities and contribute to program development.


Requirements:



  • Professional Qualifications: Must be a licensed optometrist (MD, DO) or a resident in ophthalmology.

  • Residency Training: Completion of residency training in optometry is preferred but not mandatory.
