General Summary:


Under the general supervision of the Chief Executive Officer and in collaboration with the managerial team, the Ophthalmologist will be responsible for providing exceptional medical services to the patients of our health network.

  • Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.




  • Surgical Procedures: Conduct surgical procedures, such as cataract extraction, LASIK, and corneal transplantation, contributing to the diverse range of services offered.




  • Collaborative Care: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, ensuring holistic and integrated services.




  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient visits and treatments, adhering to the highest standards of record-keeping.




  • Prescription and Fitting: Prescribe and fit corrective lenses or contact lenses as needed, addressing patients' visual needs.
