We are seeking a highly qualified Orthopedic Surgeon for a locum tenens position near Traverse City, MI. This role involves providing 24-hour on-call coverage and handling a range of orthopedic surgical cases. Position Details:

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Call Coverage:

    • Provide 24-hour on-call orthopedic surgery coverage

    • Handle emergency and non-emergency orthopedic surgical cases

    • Available for weekend shifts and on-call requirements




Requirements:



  • Certification:

    • Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery (Required)

    • BLS and ACLS certifications (Required)



  • State License:

    • Active Michigan state license and Michigan Controlled Substance Registration (Required)

    • Not accepting IMLC candidates



  • Experience:

    • Clean background (Required for emergency privileging)

    • Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred



  • Additional:

    • Rates and exact availability must be provided at the time of submission




Qualifications:

    • Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon



  • State License:

    • Active Michigan license and Michigan Controlled Substance Registration required
