We are seeking a skilled Otolaryngologist for a locum tenens opportunity in a location near Clements, CA. This position offers a unique chance to practice in a supportive environment while providing crucial care to the community.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Otolaryngology

• End Date: May 1, 2025


• Schedule:
  
  
  
  • Clinic and hospital hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  
  
  • On-call coverage: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM the next day.
  
  
  
  


• Call Responsibilities:
  
  
  
  • Covers both assigned and unassigned patients.
  
  
  • Call response time: 1520 minutes.
  
  
  
  

Practice Setting:

• Combination of inpatient and outpatient care.


• No teaching or supervision required.


• EMR systems used: Athena and Cerner.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Otolaryngology services including both surgical and non-surgical care.


• Proficient in procedures such as:
  
  
  
  • Endoscopic procedures
  
  
  • Sinus and septal surgeries
  
  
  • Bronchoscopy (flexible and rigid)
  
  
  • Laryngoscopy
  
  
  • Tracheotomy
  
  
  • Thyroidectomy
  
  
  • Facial reconstruction and surgeries (blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, and others)
  
  
  • Complex and general head and neck surgeries
  
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology.


• Fellowship training is preferred.


• Must hold an active California medical license.


• BLS certification is required.

Additional Information:

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 120180 days.
