We are currently seeking a highly skilled Otolaryngologist for a locum tenens position near Seattle, WA. This opportunity involves providing a combination of inpatient and outpatient care, including scheduled clinical hours and on-call responsibilities. Job Details:

  • Schedule: Monday Sunday, 7am 7am (7 days per month of call)

  • Call and Clinical Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours plus call duties

  • Location: Near Seattle, WA


Key Responsibilities:



  • Patient Care: Provide both inpatient and outpatient otolaryngology services.

  • Call Coverage: Participate in 7 days of call coverage per month.

  • Clinical Hours: Half-day clinic session required on Monday mornings to handle follow-ups from the emergency department.

  • Rounding: Inpatient rounding responsibilities for patients under your care.

  • EMR System: Proficient use of the Epic electronic medical records system.

  • Admissions: Required as part of inpatient care services.


Requirements:



  • Board Certification: Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Otolaryngology.

  • Certifications: BLS certification is required.

  • Licensing: No specific licensing requirements for submission, but providers must meet credentialing guidelines within 2-3 months.

  • Experience: Previous experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings is preferred, particularly in handling call duties.

  • Privileges: Hospital or surgery center privileges required.
