The practice is based at a nonprofit, freestanding, tertiary care Children’s Hospital in South Texas.  The population served is over 2 million and is one of the youngest and fastest growing in the USA. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric services including NICU, PICU and more than 40 pediatric subspecialists.  The hospital maintains a teaching affiliation with a major university, and has its own pediatric residency program.
