• Examines diagnoses and treats patients from birth to early adulthood.


• Acts as primary consultant on all pediatric cases referred by other staff providers


• From time to time, provides in-service training for staff in selected topics in Pediatrics


• Participates in quality assurance procedures such as audits/peer review.


• Participates in Health Center staffing interviews as well as Governmental or Grant reviews when appropriate.


• Completes charting and billing in a timely manner.


• Assists in internal quality controls audits.


• Provides quality medical care according to established standards


• Provide supervision to APRN’s and PA’s.


• Satisfies all requirements at community hospitals in the area necessary to maintain admitting privileges


• Nurse triaged call coverage shared by other Pediatricians and Family Practice physicians
