Position: Outpatient Pediatrics Location: Galax, VA MPLT Healthcare is looking for physicians who Understand the Urgency, Never Give Up, and Have the Courage to Excel in the forever changing medical industry! We have numerous opportunities for an experienced Outpatient Pediatrician with highly competitive pay rates in Galax, VA. Position Details:
Dates: June - ongoing; few days per week (can be flexible on which days at the moment)
1 NP and 2 Pediatricians run practice (1 Pediatrician is retiring in June)
Strictly outpatient coverage (8am-5pm)
Daily census: 35-50 total (locum would see about 15-25 patients per day)
Procedures: circs, lacerations, ingrown toenail removal
EMR: e-Clinical Works
Prefers local candidates to minimize travel costs, will consider drive in candidates and pay for hotel/mileage but no candidates that need to fly in
Requirements: VAlicensed, BC in Peds, local preferred
