• Additional Info: The role of the primary care Pediatrician is to provide preventive and medical treatment to children of all ages, from infants to adolescents. They are responsible for diagnosing and caring for illnesses and infectious diseases that are specific to younger people. Pediatricians diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries and promote overall well-being. In addition to diagnosis and treatment, pediatricians also perform routine checkups and examinations, provide immunizations according to medical or school guidelines, and refer patients to specialists to resolve issues outside the scope of their expertise.

  - Education needs to come from an accredited school or educational college/institution.
  - Current State License
  - Current State DEA license
  - Current Board Certification
  - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
  - Knowledge, skills & abilities
  - Ability to efficiently and effectively manage multiple clinical tasks
