Pediatric Child Abuse Interventionalist
 
Pediatric Child Abuse Interventionalist (Child & Adolescent)
 
 Opportunity for Locums and/or Permanent Contract
 Responsible for diagnosing and treating children and adolescents who are suspected victims of physical or sexual abuse, factitious abuse, or psychological/emotional abuse.
 
* This is a full-time position with ER back-up after hours.
* 5 days a week, 2-3 patients per day (60-90 min visits)
* Mix of physical, sexual and mental
* Hospital consultations
* Chart review
* Make recommendations to Child Protective Services
* Review cases for the Child Advocacy Center
* Court appearances (typically 1-2x per month)
