We have numerous opportunities for an experienced Cardiovascular ICU NP/PA with highly competitive pay rates in Tarboro, NC. Position Details:
Assist with acute patient care in the cardiothoracic surgery intermediate unit
Cardiac surgery experience as a nurse or advanced practice provider are preferred
Needs to have experience in an acute care setting
Coverage needed: August - October during recruitment
Shift times: 6:30am - 4:30pm
Days vary from Monday-Friday and weekend coverage
Weekend shifts required depending on schedule needs
4 (10 hour) shifts per week (equivalent to 16 shifts/month)
NC Licensed, BLS and ACLS certifications required
Average volume: 16-22patients (8-13/APP)
Clinical responsibilities: Post-operative inpatient/outpatient care and inpatient consults
Required procedures: Thoracentesis, pulling chest tubes and pacing wires
