Join our established Medical Group in North Indiana as an Experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) within a Family Medicine practice. This is a full-time opportunity with a 40-hour workweek, catering to patients across all age groups, from infants to the elderly. We are seeking candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience in Family Medicine clinics.


Experience and Key Responsibilities:



  • Clinical Experience: The ideal candidate should bring 2 to 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant within Family Medicine clinics.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a creative problem-solving approach and critical thinking abilities.

  • Versatility: Be open to flexibility and versatility in accepting various practice assignments, adapting easily to different staff dynamics.

  • Team Player: Demonstrate strong team player qualities, collaborating seamlessly with diverse healthcare professionals.


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Patient Care: Perform evaluations, examinations, and problem identification of patients, catering to a broad age range.

  • Diagnostic Procedures: Administer or order and interpret lab and other diagnostic tests, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

  • Preventative Care: Focus on primary health care with an emphasis on preventative care, conducting routine physicals.

  • Prescriptive Authority: Prescribe appropriate therapeutic interventions or medications with physician approval.

  • Minor Surgeries: Assist in minor surgeries as required, contributing to a well-rounded healthcare approach.

  • Patient Education: Instruct/counsel patients or parents on prescribed medications and health maintenance.

  • Electronic Records: Efficiently obtain, compile, and record patient medical data electronically (Cerner), ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

  • Referral Coordination: Make appropriate referrals when needed, facilitating comprehensive patient care.
