  • Master's Degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

Key Responsibilities:

As a Neurology Physician Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting evaluations and examinations, identifying patient problems


• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as EMG, EEG, labs, and CNS diagnostic imaging


• Making tentative diagnoses and decisions about patient management and treatment


• Partnering with physicians to formulate a plan of care with patient involvement


• Managing therapeutic regimes and modifying plans if necessary


• Instructing and counseling patients on prescribed medications and health maintenance


• Obtaining, compiling, and recording patient medical data electronically (Cerner)
