Cardiology Physician Assistant Opening

• Inpatient/Outpatient setting, 40 hours a week & ability to travel to additional outreach facilities


• H&P’s, consults, progress notes, orders and discharge summaries


• Provide services on weekdays, one weekend per month and two holidays per ; Employee may voluntarily provide additional weekend and holiday coverage at a premium compensation rate of $;


• Call share will be shared with the physicians and other mid-level providers as necessary


• Salaried position:  Base pay with incentives

• No special procedures at present


• Would prefer NP's with critical care experience, hospital experience, internal medicine experience, or cardiac ; Not family medicine.

Three Cath Labs:  Approx 200 caths per month

                              Approx 150 vascular per month

24 patient rooms in Cardiology step-down/decisional

16 rooms in CCU and CVICU

24 room in same day Cath Lab

ER is Chest Pain Center

Currently:

Three interventional cardiologists

Two invasive

One non-invasive

Two vascular surgeons

Three cardio-thoracic surgeons (have their own PA’s)
