Position: Cardiovascular and Thoracic PA Location: Shrewsbury, MA MPLT Healthcare is looking for Physicians who Understand the Urgency, Never Give Up, and Have the Courage to Excel in the forever changing medical industry! We have numerous opportunities for an experienced Cardiovascular and Thoracic PA with highly competitive pay rates in Shrewsbury, MA. Position Details:
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, days start at 7:00am, Weekends start at 8:00am
Provider will likely work 1x24 hour shift and 1-2 12xhour shifts per week, could be day or night shifts
Full 24 hour shift
1 Surgeon, 5 APPs
Usually have 3-5 surgeries per week
CABG TAVR, Robotic Thoracic cases (not required), no Vascular
Inpatient census: 1-2 CVICU ppd and 5-6 step down 5ppd
Outpatient: 2 ppd
Required Procedures/Skills: EVH, Maquet, Hemopro 1
Advanced procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, vent mgmt
Surgery, rounding and clinic work
Certifications: ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support; BLS- DEA & Controlled Substance Permit Required
