This leadership position will be responsible for the administrative and quality management of clinical services provided by licensed independent and dependent practitioners as well as managing inpatients. The Chair will work with the Administrative Department Director to provide operational and financial management of Psychiatric Services.   This includes the adherence to organizational and regulatory standards, policies and procedures, as well as participating in the implementation of programs and services based on developments in medicine and psychiatric care as well as those based on identified community ; The Department of Psychiatry provides a continuum for behavioral health care including inpatient, adult intensive outpatient, adult, adolescent and child outpatient, crisis services and consult/liaison ; The position is located on the Connecticut shoreline halfway between Boston and New York and the job details/requirements include:
