Seeking a board certified or board eligible general psychiatrist to join psychiatric facility staff.  The Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Service provides a specialized level of care designed to meet the needs of individuals 18 years and older who are experiencing severe psychiatric ; The Adult Intensive Care Unit is where the most chronic mentally ill patients are admitted. These patients have long-standing disorders, multiple psychiatric breaks throughout a lifetime, persistently low DSM-Axis 5 scores, and may need longer hospital stays to achieve stabilization.  A multidisciplinary clinical treatment team and administrative staff will support the physician in their patient care duties.

• Daily care of assigned patients in the programs


• Daily inpatient consults at local hospital


• Treatment team leadership and interaction with clinical and physician staff.
