We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologist with a focus on Mammography for an exciting locum tenens opportunity near Sanford, FL. This position offers a great chance to work in a thriving hospital setting with a strong focus on patient care and state-of-the-art diagnostic technology. Position Overview:



  • Role: Locum Tenens Physician - Radiology (Mammography focus)

  • Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

    • No on-call or weekend requirements

    • On-site position; no telemedicine option available



  • Patient Demographics: Broad range, serving all age groups

  • Practice Setting: Hospital-based, focusing on general diagnostics and mammography

  • Trauma Designation: N/A


Job Responsibilities:



  • Perform and interpret general mammography exams

  • Conduct stereotactic biopsies as needed

  • Supervise fluoroscopy procedures

  • Read general diagnostic imaging cases

  • Utilize the hospitals EMR (Epic/Radiant), PACS (Merge), and dictation systems (Fluency)


Qualifications:



  • Must be Board-Certified in Radiology with a specialty in Mammography

  • Active Florida medical license required

  • DEA certification required

  • Must have experience in general mammography and associated procedures
