Position:       Orthopedic Surgeon – Joint Replacement

 

A long-established, high volume and quality focused private practice is seeking an additional Orthopedic Surgeon that is currently a fellow or fellowship trained in Total Joint Replacement.

 

Qualifications:


  • MD Degree

  • Licensed in the State of Connecticut

  • Board Certified


 

Specifics:


  • Full time

  • Average number of daily office patients – 85

  • Average number of hospital admissions per week – 11

  • 75% subspecialty to be practiced

  • ER call 1:9  (8 currently)

  • Patient mix:  10% pediatric, 15% adolescent, 20% geriatric 55% adult

  • Well-run  practice with collegial members

  • Comprehensive benefits

  • Service area population: approximately 178,000

  • Located along the Southeastern Connecticut shoreline, halfway between Boston and New York and 1-2 hours from vacation spots in Newport, RI and Cape Cod, MA
