The physicians are available by appointment and walk-ins are accepted as well. You will work 40 hours a week in a variety of settings: taking appointments, fast track urgent care, and walk-ins. The physicians see an average of 24-30 patients a day and there is no hospital work required. The backup call for evenings and weekends is 1:8. The group is offering a potential income guarantee with malpractice coverage and benefits. However all of the physicians currently working in the practice are on a production-based compensation model and earning $170,000-$200, living in one of the south's most historical cities.
