Job Overview:
Physician Role:
- Seeking a Physician at this time; no NP or PA positions available.
Shift Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts on weekdays (8 AM to 8 PM).
- 8-hour shifts on weekends (8 AM to 5 PM).
Interview Process:
- Will interview and confirm appointments as soon as possible.
EMR Experience:
- Experity EMR experience is a definite plus.
Experience Required:
- Must have ER, Urgent Care (UC), or Family Practice experience.
Urgent Care Details:
Operating Hours:
- Weekdays: 8 AM to 8 PM.
- Weekends: 8 AM to 5 PM.
Availability:
- Open 7 days a week, providing accessibility to patients of all ages.
Procedures:
- Comfortable performing procedures such as suturing, abscess draining, etc.
Certification:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Physicians are welcome.
Malpractice Insurance:
- Malpractice insurance preferred; coverage should be provided.
Patient Volume:
- Average patient volume is around 40 patients per day.
Summary of Responsibilities:
As a Physician in this role, you will:
- Provide high-quality patient care.
- Manage all patient care during your shift.
- Supervise all medical staff on duty.
- Ensure completion of all charts and timely medical record documentation.
- Process biological specimens when needed.
- Fulfill additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Board Certification:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Room, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (with ER or UC experience).
Communication Skills:
- Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family.
Licensure:
- Active and current medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
DEA and Controlled Substance Certificate:
- Active and current DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate, as needed.
Skills:
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
