We have numerous opportunities for an experienced Interventional Radiologist with highly competitive pay rates in Tennessee. Position Details:
DATES: 1 week per month/vacation coverage/sporadic needs - flexible schedule
Number of reads/day: 15-25
Procedures would be about 25 split between a local guy and the LT or 18 cases for the LT guy (with smaller cases).
Usually about 10-12 biopsies a day, 5-8 ports a day and then a smattering of g-tubes, tunneled lines, renal/biliary, filters, stents, ablations, embos, kyphoplasties.
Paras and thoras by PA, who also does most US guided LN biopsies, bone marrow biopsies and port removals.
8 bed recovery room with plenty of nurses and techs. Fixed and mobile c-arms. Two biopsy CT machines. 3 procedure US machines.
Recovery room is staffed by two nurses except during the first and last hour of the day, when there is one nurse. We have two dedicated workup and consent nurses and then separate dedicated procedure nurses. We are never waiting on nurses or techs to do a case, just MDs.
