We are seeking experienced Vascular Surgeons for a locum tenens position near Sugar City, Colorado. This role offers flexible, sporadic coverage with a focus on providing comprehensive care to adult patients. Shift Details



  • Schedule:

    • 24-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM

    • Possible additional clinic coverage from 7 AM to 3:30 PM



  • Weekend Requirements: Yes

  • On Call Requirements: Yes


Practice Setting



  • Patient Population: 100% Adult

  • Caseload: 100% Adult, with minimal pediatric and neonatal care. Approximately 10% trauma cases.

  • Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15

  • Total Number of Beds: 300

  • Vascular Lab Onsite: Yes

  • Number of Exam Rooms: 3

  • Level of Trauma Center: Level III Trauma

  • Office Ancillary Staff:

    • Front Office Staff

    • 2 Medical Assistants

    • 1 Mid-Level Provider in the Office

    • 2 Mid-Level Providers at the Hospital

    • 3 Vascular Techs in the Office



  • EMR System: EPIC


Job Duties



  • Provide vascular surgical care primarily for adult patients

  • Handle trauma cases as needed

  • Sporadic coverage, including possible clinic duties


Certification and License Requirements



  • Board Certification: Board Certified in Vascular Surgery

  • Certifications Required:

    • BLS (Basic Life Support)



  • State License:

    • Active Colorado License or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)
