If you're a skilled Trauma Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) seeking an exciting locum tenens opportunity, look no further! We have a fantastic position available in the beautiful state of Idaho, allowing you to blend your professional expertise with the stunning landscapes of the region.
Position Overview:
- Shifts: Embrace the flexibility of varying shifts, either day or night. Options include 7 to 7 or 7 to 7 , ensuring a schedule that suits your preferences. The 7 on/7 off availability adds further convenience.
- Responsibilities: Focus on responding to traumas without the need for daily rounding on patients, allowing you to contribute significantly to trauma care.
- EMR System: Navigate seamlessly through the Epic EMR system, streamlining your workflow for efficient patient management.
Credentialing Process:
To facilitate a swift and hassle-free credentialing process, please ensure the availability of the following items for your provider at the time of acceptance:
- MD diploma
- Internship/residency/fellowship certificates
- All medical licenses, specifically an active Idaho license or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
- DEA certification
- Board Certification
- Life support cards, including BLS (AHA)
- Current and previous certificates of insurance
- Drivers license
- Professional color photo/headshot
- Continuing Medical Education (CME) records for the past 2 years
- Immunization records, covering TB, Flu, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Varicella, and COVID
- References
- Case logs
Submission Requirements:
- Certification: NCCPA/AANP certification is required, ensuring your proficiency in Trauma Surgery care.
- Licensing: An active Idaho license or participation in the IMLC is mandatory for consideration.
- ACLS Certification: Possess current ACLS (AHA) certification, underlining your commitment to advanced cardiac life support.
- Local Candidates: Preference will be given to local candidates, eliminating the need for flights and fostering seamless integration into the community.
- Trauma Experience: Previous Trauma experience is a prerequisite for consideration, ensuring your ability to navigate and respond effectively in a Trauma Surgery setting.
Certification Requirements:
- ACLS (AHA).
- Board Certified.
State License Requirements:
- Idaho.
