Locum Tenens Opportunity: Physician - OB/GYN


Are you a skilled OB/GYN physician seeking a locum tenens position near Amherst, NE? We're looking for a dedicated provider to join our team and provide coverage for our practice. Details


We are requesting OB/GYN coverage for a 1:2 practice, with a need for 50% provider practice coverage per month ongoing while recruiting 2 physicians.



  • Setting: Clinic, Labor & Delivery, Surgery

  • Full-Time Equivalent (FTE):

  • Duties: Clinic, After Hours Call, Labor and Delivery, Gynecologic Surgery, City Call, CNM Back Up

  • Required Procedures: All standard gynecologic procedures in clinic and hospital settings

  • EMR: EPIC

  • Support Staff: Front Desk and Clinical Support Staff, including onsite ultrasound

  • Reason for Coverage: Physician Resignation


Requirements



  • Board Certification: Required

  • Nebraska License: Required, or eligibility for Locum Tenens Nebraska license to expedite start date

  • Certifications: BLS, DEA, NRP - Required

  • Availability: Required at time of name clear

  • OB/GYN Residency: Required

  • Clean Malpractice/Background: Preferred
